In Home Autism Intervention
Children’s Autism Services of British Columbia provides individualized in home consultation and intervention services. Families have access to an in home support team including:
· speech language pathologist
· occupational therapist
· behavior consultant
· primary consultant
In home intervention services help families to learn how to incorporate strategies into their every day routines. The aim of in home services is to enhance the family’s feelings of competence and confidence in addressing challenges at home and in the community.
Families with children aged 0-19 with an autism diagnosis can access funding for in home services through the Autism Funding Program.
