At Children’s Autism Services of British Columbia, parents and school teams receive in home and in school coaching and support through the SCERTS model which focuses on Social Communication and Emotional Regulation as primary service priorities. All services and supports are strengths based and unique to every child and family.

Support the development of sensory and regulation profiles, fine and gross motor skills
provide regulation strategies and supports at home and in the community, support flexibility and executive functioning skills at all ages
coordinate home programs and services by supporting families to implement strategies from consultants through problem-solving, guided practice, direct modelling and coaching
support community school and childcare programs to integrate strategies that support inclusion, implement IEP goals in an educational setting, and support parents to advocate for their children in school settings
